Ramona is made by Benefits Life, Inc. — a Colorado FMO that decided the technology, distribution, and back-office support agents deserve shouldn't depend on which upline they happened to sign with.

The name

Ramona means “wise protector.”

It’s the feminine of Raymond, from the Germanic Raginmundragin, “wise counsel,” and mund, “protection.” We didn’t choose it by accident.

That’s the job of a good Medicare agent: give people wise counsel, and protect what matters most — their health, their coverage, their money. We built Ramona to do both. The wisdom is the AI that reads the plans, scores the fit, and surfaces the right call. The protection is the compliance built into every appointment — keeping the client safe and your license clean.

Our story

Built by people who've sat at the kitchen table.

Independent agents are asked to run a small business with enterprise complexity — Medicare rules that change every year, a dozen carrier portals, compliance that can end a career, and renewals that quietly walk out the door when no one follows up. Most uplines hand them a commission split and a login to someone else's clunky tool, then call it support.
